Nate (Hikaru)

Hikaru awoke with a start to the knock on her door. "Miss Hikaru, breakfast will be ready in about half an hour." Nate said from the other side of the door. Yuuki was gone, off in flight, probably hunting. A warm bath seemed inviting, and this was the day Nate would tell her about himself!

"Okay thank you Nate" Hikaru called and then she begun to fill the tub with warm water and got changed from her night clothes once her bath was done she dressed herself and began to head down to the kitchen

"Good morning Hikaru." Nate said with a bright smile. "I trust you slept well?"

"Good morning Nate" Hikaru smiled "Yes I did thank you and how was your night?"

"It was nice. I sat on the terrace for a while before bed, and I watched Yuuki fly off for her midnight hunt. It was glorious." Nate said as he pulled breakfast off the stove. Ham and eggs and fried potatoes.

I bet it was Yuuki is quite a beautiful owl" Hikaru said with a smile "Thank you for breakfast" she added

"Of course." Nate nodded as he sat down to eat. "Now where would you like to start? We could just start at the gate and work our way back to the palace if you want." He suggested.

"Okay that sounds fine to me Nate" Hikaru said smiling

They ate the rest of breakfast in silence and Nate cleaned up at the end. "I took the liberty of getting you a coat, I hope you like it, I know we're ice demons but it can get quite cold in these parts." Nate held out an icy blue coat for Hikaru. It was lined in pure white fur that rimmed the hood, the sleeves, and the bottom. It hung from her shoulders to her knees.

"Oh um..." Hikaru blushed "Thank you....Thank you very much though you really didn't have to spend money on me...."

"Ah, I would spend money on you, any day necessary." Nate said with a smile. "Now let us be off, you have much to see, and I have many questions to answer." He held the door for Hikaru.

Hikaru was still blushing "Okay.." she said as she slid her new coat

As they walked, Nate pointed out noticeably important buildings. Clothing parlors, blacksmiths, tea shops. "Well, I though you were so interested in me. Ask away."

"Hm...I just wannted to know a little abot you...I don't know..like what your interested in?" Hikaru asked

"Well In my free time I like to cook, and I like to sculpt ice." Nate smiled at the sky. "Ice is really very beautiful when sculpted... Next."

"Hmm...well.." Hikaru thought "You know the prince well right? I think I remember him saying something like that"

"Hm, yes. He is like my little brother in some ways. we grew up together so I know most of his secrets." Nate said with a mischievous grin.

"That doesn't suprise me...everyone's got them...though im afraid to ask what his might be" Hikaru said

"Hm well...hes short tempered but her has a good heart." Nate said with a slight smile. "Next."

"That was not a secret it was sort of obvious" Hikaru laughed a bit "But since we are ot the topic...what about you? im sure you have secrets"

"Hmm, well...I'm kind of a loner. People really don't notice it because I talk to the prince and princess a lot." Nate shoved his hands in his pockets. "There's a lot of secretes, you'll have to be more specific."

"I guess I could see you as a loner...but at first you seem to be quite the friendly person maybe not the most talkitive" Hikaru said and she thought for a bit "Since you say your a loner im going to guess that means that you've never been in love before...have you?"

"No....no I haven't." Nate said looking up at the falling snow.

Hikaru smilled looking at him then to the ground "I haven't either.." she said softly then she looked at him again "i've asked about you...is there any questions you have for me?"

"No. Todays my day. Keep asking me questions. If you don't have any, we will complete our tour, and we'll head home for lunch." Nate said with a slight smile.
